About your hosts

As long-time residents of Wyoming, Henry and I consider ourselves natives. We've been here over 50 years, so Wyoming is really the only place we know. We also know we want to spend the rest of our lives here in Wyoming too, although we're getting to the age that a short escape from the Wyoming winters doesn't sound too bad either!

We're both outdoors people, and enjoy boating, fishing, camping, the mountains, the wide-open spaces and just about anything else you can think of that makes Wyoming the incredible place it is. We're "people-people" too, and enjoy meeting and learning about folks and where they come from.

After being in oil and gas drilling in Wyoming for 40 years, Henry was ready for new challenges, and so was I. We had kicked around the idea of a retirement JOB that we could work at together and live at home in our own house instead of on a drilling rig or in a company house. Starting the RV Park sounded like a perfect solution to everything, so in 2007 we began our exciting new career. We haven't looked back--instead, we're looking to the future, and we have lots of plans for the park!

We want you to enjoy our wonderful outdoor playground as much as we do, and we hope that after your first visit you'll be back for many, many more. Consider Glendo Lakeside RV Park your "home away from home"!
